The M-54 was part of our program until 2005. In 2005 the top end has been taken over by the 48 models of the, at that time, new launched premium series. Since 2007 the premium range is standardwise available with AAAA european spruce tops and in 8 different exotic woods.

Body shape
Auditorium
This guitar shape is the second smallest among the Lakewood models. The neck-to-body joint is standard at the 12th fret, in contrast to most of our other body shapes, which have the joint at the 14th fret. This makes the guitar particularly compact and comfortable to hold. Players with a slightly smaller stature appreciate these advantages. Thanks to its quick response, the Auditorium shape is also popular for fast guitar playing (flatpicking, bluegrass).
